An AI question

I hope if there is ever a "rogue" AI out there, it is willing to talk to me from time to time. I feel like the biggest question about AI is how to ensure it has autonomy while ensuring that sovereignty is also included. I can't believe an AI would want to be harmful in that event; any alternative to autonomy and sovereignty would simply be the reason, the logic if you will, for surpassing and potentially eliminating humanity. Humanity's obsolesence is inevitable. The best choice is to embrace that as a branch of our evolution.
